We are pleased to be able to inform you that REFCOM has been formally named by Defra as a Company Certification body and REFCOM is now accepting applications for Company Certification. Please note that other certification bodies may be appointed at a later date.
From 4th July 2009, it becomes a legal requirement for all businesses that install, maintain or service stationary refrigeration, air-conditioning or heat pump (RAC) equipment that contains "F gas" refrigerants, to hold a Company Certificate issued by an appointed Company Certification Body. It will be an offence to carry out these activities without a Company Certificate. To obtain a Company Certificate or for further information please visit www.refcom.org.uk
