A prime example of this move to eco-energy generation lies at the South East corner of Upton Square itself, backing onto the school. There stands a block of 35 apartments, each heated by a NIBE Fighter 200 unit that generates hot water only form the exhaust air that would normally be expelled from the apartment. It is only at times of real peak demand in the coldest of conditions that a boost from the back-up immersion heater will be needed.
