The NIBE Installer Conference took place at the Birmingham Hilton Metropole Hotel on Thursday 18th November 2010. The conference was hosted by Lucy Siegle who regularly appears on the one show and who is also a columnist for the Observer. The conference also included an array of key industry speakers including Jaryn Bradford from the EST, John Griggs who is the Principle Technical Officer for CIPHE and Dave Sowden from the Micro Power Council. The speakers addressed a packed out conference audience who were all greatly interested in the speakers topics.

Mr Phil Hurley, Managing Director of NIBE Energy Systems Limited kicked off the conference with an overview of the current industy climate and then went on to announce new and interesting events that were about to happen for NIBE UK. Jaryn Bradford then took to the stage to deliver the findings of the EST Heat Pump Field Trial. After lunch John Griggs from CIPHE followed on from Phil Hurleys speech regarding the industry climate and also revealed what was coming up for CIPHE. John's presentation was then followed by Darren Myers, Sales Director of NIBE Energy Systems Ltd who detailed the NIBE VIP Installer package. After a short break, Dave Sowden from the Micro Power Council then took to the stage to present a Microgeneration Industry Overview. Feedback from the audience was very positive and the guests overall comments were that the event was very informative and also of great benefit to them.
